The Dead Stars In The Universe

We will talk about “dead” stellar objects, that is all those celestial bodies residual of the last evolution phases of a star’s life: namely planetary nebulae, white dwarfs, supernova remnants, neutron stars, pulsars, magnetars and black holes.

To understand how these celestial bodies are formed, however, we must first briefly describe how stars are formed and how they evolve.
