James Webb Space Telescope detects CO2 in an giant exoplanet’s atmosphere

The James Webb Space Telescope has measured carbon dioxide in the atmosphere of gas giant planet WASP-39 b.

The planet orbits a “Sun-like star 700 light-years away,” according to ESA.
