Scientists Discover NEW Earth-Like Planet Orbiting Proxima Centauri [Within Habitable Zone]

Scientists have just discovered an earth-like planet that orbits Proxima Centauri, the nearest Star to our solar system,.

What makes this discovery even more exciting is the fact that it orbits between the star and the habitable zone, the area around a star where liquid water can exist on the surface of a planet.

We check out our new little neighbor, named Proxima d, which at only 4.2 light-years away is practically right down the street. And while they prepare to point the Webb Space Telescope in that direction, let’s take a look at what we’ve learned so far.
