Hotels Of The Future: Underwater And On The Moon

The hotels of the future look like they’re going to be pretty extreme. It’s not enough anymore to just build a luxury five star resort next to a mountain and offer unforgettable skiing experiences. No, now you have to build a hotel in some of the most hostile places on Earth with concepts so out there they wouldn’t be believable in science fiction. Though they are all too real.

There are hotels that fly through the air. Huge planes that will carry thousands of people while powered by nuclear energy. Then there are the hotels in space. You have space station hotels that orbit the planet. Then underground lunar hotels from Russia. Finally we’ve got the Martian mobile hotels that are of course built by Tesla. Then we have the underwater hotels. One that’s basically an underwater city made up of several conjoined discs that offer a wide variety of services. Then there’s one of Dubai’s greatest hotels which offers a peek beneath the waves…even if it’s staged. Finally we’ve got the most extreme luxury imaginable on Earth. That would be a trip to Antartica to meet penguins, have a snowy champagne picnic and risk your life on an enormous mountain.

Each and every one of these projects comes with a huge price tag for both the construction and the nightly stays. That makes many of them entirely implausible.

Though all of those make a lot more sense than opening up a virtual reality hotel in Mark Zuckerberg’s metaverse.

So which one of these future hotels is the most ridiculous?
