Elon Musk JUST REVEALED SpaceX’s NEW Space Suit 2022!

SpaceX began constructing a space suit for astronauts to wear inside the Dragon 2 space vehicle in February 2015.
After a watchdog investigation revealed that NASA’s current space suit program is behind schedule and will cost more than $1 billion, Elon Musk volunteered SpaceX’s services to assist the agency in developing its next-generation spacesuits. “SpaceX could do it if need be,” Musk wrote in a tweet.

SpaceX did not reply to a request for comment from CNBC on whether it had started developing its own spacesuits. While the company hasn’t made its spacesuit ambitions public, it is one of roughly 50 businesses that have indicated an interest in NASA’s initiative to buy privately designed spacesuits and spacewalk services.
