Artist’s impression of the discovered massive binary system consisting of a stripped star in the background and a Be star in the foreground. Although the stripped star appears bigger, it only has 3 solar masses left after its envelope has been stripped off. The star in the foreground has gained a lot of mass and is now rapidly spinning, resulting in an oblate shape and a surrounding disk.
