An Asteroid Has Been Discovered Ahead Of Us In Orbit

Astronomers have found a new trojan asteroid at the L4 Lagrange point of the Earth-Sun system. This newly discovered trojan is about 1.1 km wide and is the second one found at this point.

It is a transient asteroid that will share its orbit with our planet for the next 4000 years.
