Wow! James Webb Space Telescope sees Jupiter’s rings, moons and auroras

The James Webb Space Telescope’s Near captured imagery of Jupiter and its moons Amalthea and Adrastea on July 27, 2022.

Also visible in the false color Near Infrared Camara (NIRCam) images are the gas giant planet’s rings and auroras.
